Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Genesis G70 than the Lexus IS 350. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Genesis G70 and the Lexus IS 350 in the front seats.

Convenience
The Lexus IS 350 requires fewer visits to the gas station than the Genesis G70, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Genesis G70 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Lexus IS 350. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Genesis G70 and the Lexus IS 350 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Genesis G70 is much wider than the Lexus IS 350, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. When looking at overall length, the Genesis G70 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Lexus IS 350.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Genesis G70 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Lexus IS 350.

Handling
The Genesis G70 has a larger turning radius than the Lexus IS 350, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Genesis G70 has less horsepower than the Lexus IS 350, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Genesis G70 and the Lexus IS 350. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of groceries into the Genesis G70 as you will in the Lexus IS 350.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the Genesis G70 than that of the Lexus IS 350.
