Don't Overpay for Your New Genesis G70

2025 Genesis G70 Overview

Having launched the GV70 to widespread acclaim for the 2022 model year and refining its equipment levels for 2024, Genesis is polishing its coupe-roofed SUV with a finer grit for 2025. There are no major changes this year aside from a few equipment updates.

What’s New?
For 2025, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Genesis Connected Services, are now standard across the GV70 line. Cardiff Green, a teal hue, and Brunswick Green, a matte-olive color, are no longer available; they’re replaced by a deeper, browner Storr Green in metallic and matte finishes.

Powertrain Specs and MPG
The GV70’s standard engine for the 2.5T trims is a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder making 300 horsepower and 311 pounds-feet of torque. A twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 powers the 3.5T trim levels with 375 hp and 391 pounds-feet. Both are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive is standard.

With the standard 19-inch wheels, the 2.5T returns an EPA-rated 22/28/24 mpg city/highway/combined, while the optional 21-inch wheels drop those figures to 19/26/22 mpg. The 3.5T is rated at 18/24/20 regardless of wheel size.
