Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will feel a little more squished in the Audi S5 than in the BMW 430, due to the Audi S5's smaller rear head- and legroom. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Audi S5, drivers may find the BMW 430 a little roomier and somewhat more comfortable.

Convenience
With the BMW 430 you will definitely be making less frequent stops at the gas station than with the Audi S5, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Audi S5 is somewhat more expensive than the BMW 430. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Audi S5 and the BMW 430 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Audi S5 is a little wider than the BMW 430, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. When looking at overall length, the Audi S5 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the BMW 430.

Drivetrain
Due to its much higher torque, the engine of the Audi S5 does a much better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the BMW 430.

Handling
The Audi S5 has a smaller turning radius than the BMW 430, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Audi S5 has a much more powerful engine than the BMW 430. However, something you should consider is that higher horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Audi S5 and the BMW 430. The Audi S5 has significantly less cargo room than the BMW 430, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
The Audi S5 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW 430.
