Don't Overpay for Your New Kia Soul

2025 Kia Soul Overview

The cheap but cheerful Kia Soul will stay that way for the 2025 model year, as pricing announced today only increases the cost of admission across all trim levels by $100. Most of the 2025 Soul carries over from 2024, with only one new addition: the Soulmate Special Edition Package for the EX trim.

The new Soulmate Special Edition Package — a $1,000 add-on for the EX trim — is somewhat similar to 2024’s EX Designer Package. It includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a two-tone roof, extra body cladding, an umber interior with synthetic leather and cloth seats, and a Harman Kardon premium audio system.

All Souls remain powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine good for 147 horsepower and 132 pounds-feet of torque. It’s a frugal ride, too, with the EX trim scoring 29/35/31 mpg city/highway/combined in EPA tests.

The Soul also boasts a number of standard safety features that make it one of the best values on the road, including forward collision avoidance with pedestrian detection, lane departure steering assist, lane departure warning and automatically adjusting high beams. Lane change assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist and blind spot collision avoidance are options offered across the entire range.

The 2025 Soul will go on sale soon. Pricing is as follows (all prices include $1,375 destination):

  • LX: $21,665
  • S: $24,165
  • GT-Line: $25,265
  • EX: $25,965
