The 2020 Toyota Prius is a fuel-efficient hybrid hatchback, which was redesigned last year. Maximum cargo capacity is 65.5 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down.
Four trims are available: L, LE, XLE, and Limited.
Under the hood, the Prius trims are powered by the same 1.8-liter four-cylinder gas engine and an electric motor mated to an electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, while all-wheel drive is available. Fuel efficiency for most of the Prius trims is an EPA-estimated 54/50 mpg city/highway, while the L trim earns a best 58/53 mpg rating.
