The compact Lancer sedan covers several bases for Mitsubishi with the entry-level ES, all-wheel-drive SE and performance-oriented GT and all-wheel-drive Ralliart. The Lancer family includes the rally-inspired Evolution sedan, which is covered in a separate report in the Cars.com Research section. The Lancer competes with compact cars like the Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Mazda3 and Nissan Sentra.
New for 2015
All models now have heated side mirrors with turn indicators, and new standard features consist of 16-inch alloy wheels, a Fuse hands-free system with USB port, a six-speaker audio system and fog lights. A Value Package includes 16-inch alloy wheels, Link System, high contrast meters and rear disc brakes. The Sun and Sound Package (available on the Lancer GT) has a glass sunroof, nine-speaker sound system and high-intensity-discharge headlights.
