The 2020 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the flagship model in the lineup. It is powered by a standard 362-hp, twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, while 4MATIC all-wheel drive is optional. A more powerful 463-hp, twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 is also available.
Two trims are available: S 450 and S 560. The S 450 only comes as a sedan, while sedan, coupe, and cabriolet body styles are available for the S 560 trim.
