2015 Lexus ES 350 Overview (See Available Styles)

  • Midsize luxury sedan
  • New available technology, including Lexus Enform Remote
  • 268-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 engine
The 2015 Lexus ES 350 gets a few technology focused updates for the new model year that further modernize the midsize luxury sedan.

Compared to the younger models in Lexus fleet, the ES 350 has pretty subdued styling. Lexus’ signature “spindle grille” is the most prominent visual feature of the whole car, which otherwise opts for smooth lines over sharp creases. 17-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, and a power moonroof all come standard, with larger 18-inch wheels and automatic wipers optional.

Under the hood, the ES 350 shares its V-6 engine with several other vehicles across both the Lexus and Toyota lineups. It is a tried and tested 268-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 that offers more than enough grunt and is mated to a six-speed automatic that sends power to the front wheels. Fuel economy estimates check in at 21/31 mpg city/highway.

The 2015 ES 350’s technology upgrades bolster existing systems but also introduce a brand new feature, the Lexus Enform Remote. The Enform App Suite adds Slacker and updates iHeartRadio, while a new Remote Touch Interface knob in the center console makes navigating infotainment options easier than ever. The available Lexus Enform Remote gives owners smartphone control over many of the ES 350’s functions. You can start the car remotely, lock and unlock doors, locate where you parked it, and check the fuel levels. Standard features include simulated leather upholstery, power front seats, Siri Eyes Free Mode for iPhone users, a seven-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, HD radio, and USB port. A navigation system and Lexus Enform Remote are optional, as are real leather upholstery and heated front seats.

Standard safety features include eight airbags, antilock brakes, a rearview camera, and an electronic stability system. Much like the interior, available safety features use the latest technology, such as lane departure alerts, automatic high beams, a forward pre-collision system, adaptive cruise control, and a proximity park assist sensors.
