The 2023 Jeep Cherokee is a mid-size SUV that seats five passengers. Maximum cargo capacity is 54.7 cubic feet with the rear seat folded down.
Two trims are available: Altitude Lux and Trailhawk.
Powering the Cherokee is a standard 180-hp, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, while four-wheel drive is available. A more powerful 270-hp, 3.2-liter V-6 is also available. Fuel economy for the Cherokee 2.4L is an EPA-estimated rating of 21/29 mpg city/highway. At the time of this writing, the Trailhawk had not received a fuel economy rating.
