2010 INFINITI G37 Overview

Loaded with several trim levels, luxurious appointments and ample power, the 2010 Infiniti G37 is built like a premium car without the premium sticker price.

Employing three body styles: sedan, coupe/hatchback and convertible, and four trim levels: G37 base, G37 Journey, G37x all-wheel drive and G37 Sport 6MT, the G37 offers something for everyone. The 2010 Infiniti G37 receives a minor refresh with a reworked front fascia including a larger grille and sleek bumper inlets with fog lights. The rear bumper is also reshaped, while the standard 17-inch alloy wheels have a fresh design. The G37 convertible incorporates a folding metal hardtop that can be deployed or stowed in approximately 30 seconds.

The 2010 G37 boasts a 3.7-liter, 328-horsepower V-6 that is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The Sport 6MT trim operates on a six-speed manual transmission and the G37x gains additional traction with standard all-wheel drive. Fuel economy for the G37 is modest at 17-18 mpg in the city and 25-26 on the highway. Competition for the 2010 Infiniti G37 includes the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Lexus IS, Audi A4 and Cadillac CTS.

Infiniti also made changes to the interior, albeit minor ones. Eight-way power leather seats, single-zone automatic climate control and a six-speaker sound system with an MP3 jack are standard. Dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, an iPod-compatible 11-speaker Bose stereo and moonroof are optional. The available 2.0 or 9.3 GB Music Box hard drive can be accessed by a USB port in the center armrest, and helps organize your audio files internally. If the Music Box hard drive doesn't make an impression, then maybe the G37’s revised, touch-screen navigation system will. Infiniti Voice Recognition, XM NavTraffic (which includes Real-Time Traffic info), Birdview 3-D graphics (which displays buildings from an aerial perspective) and Lane Guidance are displayed on a 7-inch LCD screen and will keep you from getting lost.

A total of six airbags, antilock brakes, active front head restraints, traction control and an electronic stability system come standard. The optional Intelligent Cruise Control automatically slows the G37 when it detects traffic so you can maintain a safe distance from the cars in front of you. Once you’ve reached a safe distance, ICC resumes your set cruising speed.

Enjoy the freedom of a convertible, sporty style of a coupe, functionality of a sedan and numerous luxurious options in the revised and sleek 2010 Infiniti G37.
