2010 INFINITI EX35 Overview

Combine sports styling and performance with the convenience and cargo capabilities of a four-door sedan and you get the 2010 Infiniti EX35 five-passenger midsize crossover luxury wagon.

The EX35 is available in base and Journey trim levels in rear- or all-wheel-drive configurations, and competes with the Acura RDX, Land Rover LR2 and BMW X3.  The 2010 Infiniti EX35 is equipped with a 297-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 that is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with auto-manual mode. EPA fuel economy ratings aren’t bad at up to 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.

A rear-parking camera was introduced as standard equipment last year. Sitting on either 16- or 17-inch wheels, the 2010 Infiniti EX35 features dual chrome exhaust, power heated side mirrors, fog lamps, intelligent key and a power sunroof. The car-based chassis features four-wheel independent suspension. EX35 Journey models offer auto on/off headlights and optional directionally adaptive headlights that turn in the direction you turn the vehicle.

Inside, the 2010 Infiniti EX35 offers standard leather upholstery and 88.5 cubic feet of passenger volume, which easily beats the competition. Cargo volume behind the power-folding second row of seats is 18.6 cubic feet. Standard interior features include automatic dual-zone climate control and heated power front seats. A standard Bluetooth hands-free phone system has been added to EX35 Journey models, while EX audio systems offer a USB connection port for MP3 players. Optional features include voice-activated air conditioning and navigation systems and an 11-speaker Bose sound system.

A host of standard safety features helped the 2010 Infiniti EX35 achieve four out of five stars for frontal protection and five stars for side protection in government crash tests. Side-impact and side curtain airbags, active head restraints and an electronic stability system with traction control are standard. Optional technologies include a lane departure warning system, forward collision mitigation and intelligent brake assist and adaptive cruise control, which detects traffic ahead and automatically applies the proper amount of brake pressure. An Around View Monitor utilizes four small cameras located front, side and rear to provide you an outside view of the vehicle and help eliminate blind spots when parking.

With a powerful engine, best-in-class passenger volume and first-class safety technologies, the 2010 Infiniti EX35 midsize crossover luxury wagon is a more-than-capable vehicle to handle your everyday driving needs.
