The 2025 Honda HR-V carries over unchanged from 2024. Technology and safety remain the same: A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system continues to be standard, while the range-topping EX-L trim comes with a standard 9-inch touchscreen; both systems feature standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which are wireless in the EX-L. The Honda Sensing suite of safety tech is standard and includes a front-view camera, traffic jam assist and traffic sign recognition.
Performance for the HR-V continues to come from a 158-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that’s mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but buyers can get optional all-wheel drive for an additional $1,500 on each trim. FWD versions got an EPA-rated 26/32/28 mpg city/highway/combined driving and AWD saw those figures dip slightly to 25/30/27 mpg.
