The 2021 GMC Yukon XL is the extended version of the full-size Yukon SUV. This year, it receives a redesign along with the regular Yukon. It seats up to eight passengers across three rows. Maximum cargo capacity is 121.7 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down.
Three trims are available: SLE, SLT, and Denali.
Powering the Yukon XL is a standard 355-hp, 5.3-liter V-8 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that produces 383 pounds-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, while four-wheel drive is available. The Denali receives a more powerful 420-hp, 6.2-liter V-8 joined with a ten-speed automatic.
