The 2019 GMC Terrain is a premium compact SUV that seats five passengers. Maximum cargo capacity is 81 cubic feet with the rear seat and front passenger seat folded down.
Four trims are available: the SL, SLE, SLT, and Denali.
The Terrain has three engine options: a 170-hp, turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, a 252-hp, turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder, and a 137-hp, turbo-diesel 1.6-liter four-cylinder. The Turbo 1.5-liter and the Turbo 2.0-liter engines are mated to a nine-speed automatic, while the 1.6 Turbo-Diesel is paired with a six-speed automatic. All trims except for the SL have all-wheel drive as an option.
