2024 Genesis GV60 Overview

After introducing the GV60 electric SUV for the 2023 model year, Genesis has big news for 2024: A new rear-wheel-drive model joins the lineup, dropping the base price more than $7,000 from 2023. The 2024 model year also brings standard seat belt pretensioners to the Advanced variant, as well as a virtual gear shift and the Genesis Digital Key 2 as standard equipment for the Performance trim. All GV60s also now get 10 more airbags and a Wi-Fi hot spot.

Powertrain Specs, Range and Charge Time
Using the same 77.4-kilowatt-hour battery pack as the twin-motor GV60s, the new Standard rear-drive trim has a motor that makes 225 horsepower and 258 pounds-feet of torque; the powerplant stretches range to 294 miles, according to Genesis.

The all-wheel-drive Advanced trim level’s front and rear motors combine for a total of 314 hp and 446 pounds-feet, and the range-topping AWD Performance manages 429 hp and 516 pounds-feet with a Boost mode unlocking 483 hp for up to 10 seconds at a time. The Advanced can travel up to an EPA-rated 248 miles on a charge, while the Performance will drain its batteries in 235 miles. A 250-kilowatt DC fast charger can juice all three variants from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes.

Standard and Available Safety Features
All GV60s come with a comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assist systems, including forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind spot collision avoidance assist, lane-centering steering, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, traffic-sign recognition, and front and rear parking sensors. A 360-degree camera system, reverse automatic emergency braking, and blind spot cameras that feed a display in the instrument cluster are included on the Advanced and Performance trims.
