Complete pocket rocket

by HotHatches1 from Winter Garden, fl | November 10, 2019

Gets the kids to school and soccer practice while getting the heck out of some groceries. Like having a sports car with a back seat you can use and actual trunk space. Hot hatches are the best. Has never given me a problem and is fun to drive everyday.

One of my favorites .

by Jim B. | June 23, 2019

This car has been nothing but fun. It is quick, the handling is fantastic, and it is smart looking, as well. If you like fast, sporty cars, where you still get to shift the gears, this car is a good choice. It has been problem free since I purchased it a little over two years ago.

Fun to drive

by BigBlkGT from Edison, NJ | June 11, 2019

Excellent versatility for a compact car , fun to drive, great space with seats folded, good room in back seats for adults. Good gas mileage for a performance car. Can tow my 16' sailboat with this car.

2017 Ford Focus ST Overview

New/Notable

The 2017 Ford Focus ST is a sporty hatchback that offers more performance than the regular Focus. It competes with the MINI Clubman, Subaru WRX, and Volkswagen Golf GTI. This year, it remains largely unchanged.

The Focus ST’s aggressive styling immediately differentiates it from other hatchbacks on the road. The front-end features a honeycomb mesh-pattern grille and a sharp-lined, frowning lower fascia. The rear bumper of the ST appears hollowed-out and molded around the unique center-exit exhaust tip. Standard features include sport-tuned suspension, front fog lights, a dual-pipe exhaust system, a rear spoiler, and unique 18-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers. HID headlights, power/heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, and a power moonroof are also available.

Under the hood, the Focus ST is powered by a 252-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission that produces 270 pounds-feet of torque. The front-wheel drive system features Torque Vectoring Control, which enhances handling for different road conditions. Fuel economy for the Focus ST is an EPA-estimated 22/30 mpg city/highway.

Inside, the Focus ST has a sporty, driver-centric interior with front bucket seats and a 60/40-split folding rear seat. The center stack features the standard SYNC audio system, which includes a 4.2-inch display, CD/MP3 playback, Bluetooth connectivity for phone and audio, and two USB ports. It can be upgraded to the SYNC3 multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen, an integrated navigation system, voice command recognition, and a Sony premium audio system. Standard features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, alloy shift knob, cruise control, rear heat vents, remote keyless entry, and push-button start. Full leather upholstery, carbon fiber accents, Recaro bucket seats, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control are available as well.

Standard safety features include front airbags, antilock brakes, an electronic stability control system, and a backup camera.
