Great purchased - my son is thrilled.

by JB son of Jim from Sicklerville | October 10, 2019

This car is perfect for my son. He uses it for school and it has plenty of room for his sport's equipment also. He says the ride is smooth and the mileage is great.

Tremendous vehicle, extremely comfortable

This is my second ford Focus. The Focus rarely needs service. I never had a significant repair. My first one gave me 160,000 miles of service and was like new.

2017 Ford Focus RS Overview

New/Notable

The 2017 Ford Focus RS is the highest performance version of the Focus hatchback. It competes with the Volkswagen Golf R, MINI Clubman, and Subaru WRX STi. Last year, it made its debut to a limited audience. This year, Ford claims that it has been slightly revised to achieve 9 percent less drag than the previous model.

The Focus RS has reached its final form as a hyper-aggressive speed demon. The aerodynamic front-end features angry headlights, a bold hexagonal grille, and a wide-mouth, segmented lower fascia. The rear diffuser is molded to the dual-pipe exhaust system. A large wing spoiler provides additional downforce at the rear. Other standard features include automatic HID headlights, power side mirrors with turn signal indicators, fog lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and Brembo disc brakes. Power/heated side mirrors and larger 19-inch alloy wheels are also available.

Under the hood, the Focus RS is powered by a 350-hp, turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine that produces 350 pounds-feet of torque mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive with Dynamic Torque Vectoring. The all-wheel drive system can shift torque to the rear axle and distribute torque to either one of the rear wheels. The Focus RS has four drive modes: Normal, Sport, Track, and Drift.

Inside, the Focus RS has its own unique, sporty interior with Recaro leather-trim seats, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, a flat-bottom steering wheel, boost gauges, and special badging. The center stack features the SYNC 3 multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen, voice command recognition, Bluetooth connectivity for phone and audio, two USB ports, and a Sony premium audio system. It can be upgraded with an integrated navigation system. Standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, remote keyless entry, and push-button start. Heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a power driver’s seat are available as well.

Standard safety features include front air bags, antilock brakes, an electronic stability system, and a backup camera.
