Vehicle Overview
The performance-oriented four-seat Audi S5, which is based on the A5, is aimed at German rivals like the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Both the S5 coupe and S5 Cabriolet (convertible) are powered by a 333-horsepower, supercharged V-6 engine.
New for 2014
Audi Drive Select, which has settings for steering, throttle and transmission response, is now standard. Premium Plus versions have keyless access with push-button start.
Exterior
The S5 comes standard with LED daytime running lights and taillights, Sport suspension, and Quad exhausts for an aggressive sport look.
Interior
Fitted with front sport seats, standard chrome interior accents and Nappa leather upholstery, the technology inside includes automatic climate control standard with Bang & Olufsen premium stereo, Audi Connect information system, and navigation system optional.
Under the Hood
The Audi S5 is powered by a 333-hp, supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine in either six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The all-wheel drive with rear-biased torque split allows for maximum road control with sport rear differential available.
Safety Features
Standard safety features include four-wheel-disc antilock brakes, side-impact airbags for the front seats, side curtain airbags in the coupe model, and electronic stability system. Blind spot warning system available for additional security.
