Sporty, fun to drive great mpg!

by Audi buyer from Seattle, WA | December 12, 2018

The quality of the vehicle is evident when you get in the car. Solid door closing with nice seating and features. The upgraded sound system is awesome and it is now my favorite place to listen to music! Technology package features are also robust. Driving the car is fun as it is quick and really hugs the road. Looking forward to driving more with fewer stops at the gas station.

Great handling and seamless hybrid technology

by Commuter from San Francisco | November 02, 2018

The e-tron is a great handling hybrid. Fun and sporty to drive and you'll get anywhere from 45 to 60 mpg depending on how often you plug in. Back seat too cramped for adults.

Anvil solid Teutonic machine

First Audi I've owned. Purchased a Premium Plus model with Tech and Sport packages and got Red California HOV lane sticker which is good for 3.5 years. A3 etron replaced a Chevy Volt I had for 6 years (purchased 6 months before Tesla even had a model for sale’115K miles with no problems) but the California green HOV lane sticker on it expires at year end (sticker saves me ~2 hours of commute per day and $ on bridges/Lexus-lanes). Audi drive is very smooth and car is uber luxurious compared to other hybrids ’ comes pretty much fully loaded. I drive with the car set to hybrid mode (combo of engine and battery) and ’comfort’ setting and, despite its size, it drives like any large top German luxury car (Wife has had 3 E Benz wagons and currently drives one’and this is very similar in anvil solid feel combined with great ride + robust acceleration). Car us very quiet and zippy and has most every feature of the bigger German luxury cars. B&O stereo is great (love the noise cancelling feature) and phone integration is super intuitive. Virtual cockpit is great in that it is close to line of sight to road, and comes with all the standard safety goodies. I don’t like the charger port being up front as it is not as easy in our garage to plug in and I do worry about millennial city drivers who tend to drive-by-feel and might smash into front ($$$’) while trying to pull into/out of parking space. Overall pleasantly surprised and plan to keep it for 3 years when its red HOV sticker expires. Price point is high vis--vis the Volt or other plug in hybrids, but it really is a different level of driving experience. If you have HOV Lanes, congestion pricing, or tax breaks, this is the best thing I've driven short of an [overpriced] $130K Tesla.
