Price Range: $19,145 - $29,045

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Camry to the dealership as the typical sedan. Producing a precise fuel economy evaluation is so hard that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the typical sedan and the typical sedan perform roughly comparably regarding gas mileage. There isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Toyota Camry is a little more economical than the average sedan. With respect to MSRP, the Toyota Camry costs tremendously less than the typical sedan.

Utility
Neither the Camry nor the typical sedan has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity. Towing is considerably more the average sedan's forte than it is the Toyota Camry's.

Convenience
You definitely won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the average sedan than with the Toyota Camry, as both offer comparable ranges.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the average sedan offers a bit more head room than the Toyota Camry, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Toyota Camry provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the typical sedan does.

Dimensions
The typical sedan's tank is almost the same size as the Toyota Camry's, though the Toyota Camry's is a tad larger. The average sedan and the Toyota Camry compete for the same parking spaces.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Camry and the typical sedan likely handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Toyota Camry's engine is significantly smaller than the typical sedan's. Note that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; on the other hand, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. The Toyota Camry could learn a lesson or two from the typical sedan regarding torque. Torque equals pickup, and the typical sedan will have picked up and gone by the time the Toyota Camry finally gets moving.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Toyota Camry isn't quite as generous as the typical sedan's.
