2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor Overview
The 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor is a midsize crossover SUV built to handle like a sports sedan but able to tackle off-road environments with confidence. Add a roomy cabin, ample cargo space, and an independent suspension and you have a winning combination. Available in two trim levels – the capable LS and the upscale SE – the Endeavor is motivated by a 225-horsepower 3.8 liter V6 engine with an ample 255 lb.-ft. of torque and Sportronic® Sequential-Shift 4-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control and Clutchless Manual Shift Mode. The available all-wheel drive system give the Endeavor excellent handling and grip in inclement weather or less-than-perfect road conditions. When properly equipped, the towing capacity is a generous 3,500 lbs. Standard 17” aluminum wheels and all-season tires offer excellent looks and performance. Safety features include 4-wheel disc brakes with an Anti-Lock Braking System and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution that create impressive stopping power and mimize wheel lockup during hard braking. Standard dual-stage front airbags, seat-mounted side airbags and roof-mounted curtain airbags with Roll-Over Protection offer superior passenger protection in a collision. The Mitsubishi Active Stability and Traction Control system helps to keep the Endeavor planted firmly during evasive maneuvers and minimizes wheelspin on slippery surfaces. The standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System consistently monitors inflation and alerts the driver to any significant drops in pressure. Interior amenities include a 360-watt Rockford Acoustic Design® 6-CD/MP3 Premium Audio System and SIRIUS® Satelllite Radio for an amazing audio experience. Available leather seats offer another level of luxury inside, while the 60/40 split fold-down rear seats offer excellent cargo flexibility, with a maximum 76.4 cubic feet of cargo space. The available power sunroof lets you experience open-air motoring, while the available Navigation Package includes a DVD-based navigation system, multi-communication display, 7-inch LCD touch screen panel, and points-of-interest locator to guide you on your journey. The 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor is a capable, flexible midsize crossover SUV that offers a nice alternative to the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Nissan Rogue. |
