2010 Lexus GS 460 Overview
Swift V-8 performance and a cozy ride meet spacious luxury in the 2010 Lexus GS 460 midsize sport sedan.

A 342-horsepower, 4.6-liter V-8 powers the 2010 Lexus GS 460, and is mated to a manually-shiftable eight-speed automatic transmission. V-6 and hybrid models are also available. The V-8, with direct injection and variable valve timing technologies, send power to the rear wheels. This powertrain delivers 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway ratings, while achieving the Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle II rating from the EPA. Compared with V-8 offerings from the Cadillac STS, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5-Series, the GS 460 delivers low horsepower and high fuel economy.

Regency perforated leather-trimmed power front seats feature heat and ventilation. Dazzling wood trim, polished metal and leather are draped around every corner and in every cranny to create a delightful visual experience. Once you are comfortably situated, reach for the Lexus Premium Audio System with its 10 speakers, six-CD changer, USB media device connectivity and Bluetooth connectivity. An available 11-channel, 330-watt Mark Levinson Premium Sound System delivers a euphoric aural experience through 14 speakers, and the seven-inch display screen can play DVD movies when the vehicle is parked.

The Adaptive Variable Suspension system offers Normal and Sports settings, for comfort or for a spirited ride. For further improved driving dynamics, the Active Power Stabilizer System uses sensors to measure body roll and help combat it for more level, performance-oriented driving dynamics. 18-inch wheels put lots of rubber on the road for plenty of cornering grip.

Brake Assist and Electronic Brake-Force Distribution systems join antilock brakes in making the 2010 Lexus GS 350 a great stopping force. Vehicle Stability Control, which acts as a traction and stability control system, keeps the GS 350 poised and capable of helping the driver avoid accidents when possible. The Lexus Enform™ system with Safety Connect™ includes stolen vehicle location and crash notification functions, so you get help when you need it most. A sturdy structure and a suite of airbags help the GS 350 earn “Good” ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Speed, responsive driving dynamics, advanced technologies and style define a luxurious and spacious 2010 Lexus GS 460.
