I brought in my Prius when the P0AFA code was triggered.
I brought in my Prius when the P0AFA code was triggered. They ran a diagnostic test and claimed the hybrid battery (which had less than 25,000mi on it) needed to be replaced, however, they were unwilling to access any other possible issues that could be causing the code, which could include corrosion or loose connectors. While they were quick to squeeze me in last minute, which I do appreciate, I felt they were pressuring me to replace the battery (a $2,600 cost) without accessing other solutions.
