My name is Rick Oneal and Friday I brought a dear friend in from Lafayette to possibly buy a car. My salesman is Justin Cooper and he does an excellent job. He sold me my 4Runner at Walker Bmw. Well he showed us or her a clean little Kia 2015 optima. Well she loved it. She paid cash to Walker Honda. That afternoon when she returned to Lafayette the car just died. It had no power whatsoever. Well, the following day , Saturday a buddy of mine that is a master mechanic with all the proper licenses loaded up with me because we weren't sure what we might run into headed to Lafayette. Well the first thing we did was check the battery, and my God the cables were just sitting on the post with corrosion on both terminals. All we had to do was clean and tighten the cables. So, I don't know who is running the shop at Walker Honda but it is a shame that something so routine like clean and tighten battery cables was so overlooked. So we drove an hour and a half to tighten a battery. Apparently this person is clearly not doing his job. Such incompetent work or lack there of should definitely be addressed by higher management and possibly a change in that supervisor position. So I'm out of 250.00 to pay a person to tighten battery cables. I also believe I should be reimbursed for such incompetence. Hats off to the best salesman Justin Cooper and a real mechanic Damion Brooks for their great service. Thank you guys.
