We bought a brand new Honda CRV from Classic Honda in 2018. We purchased a few service plans and warranties because as a young, single woman I did not want to have to deal with maintenance headaches. You CAN NOT trust a word they say if you choose to buy a car from them. We asked many detailed questions about the coverage of the service plans we were considering purchasing. They lied about absolutely everything. Even the maintenance plan, they claim will cover all general maintenance for 60,000 Miles or 5 years, but this is a lie. They have a specific number of each type of services they will do. They will do 2 tire alignments and that is it. Even if a tire goes out and you end up buying new tires from them, they will include that alignment as one of your 2 services. It does not go up to 60,000 miles or 5 years like they claim. We purchased the premium tire plan because the sales person told us it would cover all tire replacements up to a certain number of miles, this was a lie as well. We specifically asked if it would cover tire replacements if someone hit a curb and they said that was the main reason to get it, because it would cover everything including hitting curbs, etc. We researched more later and found that everything they told us about the plan is untrue. It only covers if a person gets a nail in the tire, so the fact that they even HAVE a premium plan that covers cosmetic damage to rims is a complete scam because it excludes absolutely anything that could possibly cause damage to rims.
Furthermore, when replacing our windshield wipers, their service department cracked our windshield right at the spot that the windshield was removed and then didn't acknowledge what they had done. We realized on the drive home and contacted them immediately. We brought the car back in and two different service representatives acknowledged that it must have been when they replaced the windshield wipers because nothing else could have caused that exact damage in that exact spot. We asked to speak to the manager and they said he wasn't in so we asked to speak to the associate manager. The associate manager refused to come out to look at the damage that their service department had just caused despite the fact that two of their representatives acknowledged that it was definitely caused by their service department and nothing else could have caused that crack in our windshield in that spot and the crack was not there before they installed the wipers. They promised us that the manager of the service department would call us the next day. He never called nor did he return any calls or emails. We had to have a claim put onto our insurance because they would not take responsibility for the damage they caused, no credit given or anything, the management would not even speak to us to apologize or anything.
We tried calling both their sales department and service department to speak with management directly, because we do not want to leave negative reviews, but when you call the phone number it just rings and rings and after waiting on hold for an extended period of time it just says "Thank you" and then hangs up. There is no way to actually connect with management to address the issues.
I have never in my life left a negative review online, but after countless times of trying to contact them directly to speak with management for them to handle major integrity issues with their service department and sales department's false promises and not even being able to speak with management in either the sales or service department, we have been forced to come to the conclusion that they have absolutely zero accountability for any of their work or integrity in anything and there is no way to talk with management if there is an issue. We would never buy a car through them or you them for service ever again. Very disappointed. If there were any way to connect with their management directly we would never be writing this review.
