I saw an ad online for a 2014 Honda CR-V which I was looking for to tow behind a motorhome. The price was listed as $14,990. I called and spoke to Rex who described the car as exceptional. The next day, 10-16-25, we drove to the dealership to meet and drive the car. We offered to buy the car and was told there were additional fees of $995.00 for dealer processing and around $400.00 for electronic registration plus tax and license. Then Rex went to get a sales proposal and came back saying there was an additional $995.00 for a Protection Package. I objected and was told it was already on the car. Then the sales manager came over, very friendly, with a written proposal selling the car for around $22,000.00!! Part of this latest price increase was for reconditioning, another $1995.00. I asked what that included and was told the new tires, checking brakes and making sure everything was working properly and safe to drive. The was too much so we negotiated down to $16740.00 for the car and the reconditioning plus $994.00 dealer prep and $398.00 Electronic Registration. We bought the car and drove home. Feeling like we had been shafted and possibly lied to I checked the "new" tires, date coded 2013! The Honda owner's manual in the car and online says to never drive the car with tires after 10 years from date of manufacture. The Florida Highway Safety Board say not to drive on tires after 6 years of service. So we were lied to and sent out with unsafe tires to drive Florida Highways, all in the name of lining their pockets. Deceptive practices, bait and switch, knowingly sending out an unsafe vehicle - call it what you will. One star is too high a rating.

Never buying online again, I bought a 2022 Honda CRV from
Never buying online again, I bought a 2022 Honda CRV from them, it took them over a week to start the paperwork process to buy since I had my own loan they wasn't in any rush to start my paper work. They said no damage clean car that was a lie three dents on the hood with deep scratches, car wasn't detailed it had stains on the back passenger seat and melted crayons in the door opening inside and a cracked windshield driver side bottom corner. When car finally gets to me the car battery was dead I asked the hauler what happened they said the company had to jump start the car to get it on the truck rack. Very unprofessional car lot I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone buying online from my experience only. If they would have communicated these problems I would of been more understanding, honesty and integrity comes a long way with me.

I recently purchased a 2023 Yukon from Coconut Point
I recently purchased a 2023 Yukon from Coconut Point Honda in Estero, FL on May 7th. On my drive home, I immediately noticed the vehicle was surging when maintaining speed. I contacted the dealership right away and took the vehicle to a GMC dealer the next day, where I discovered it needed a new torque converter and valve body—a $4,450 repair for a vehicle I had purchased less than 48 hours earlier for nearly $50,000. I was shocked to learn that although I had purchased a powertrain warranty, it wouldn't take effect for 45 days after the sale. When I approached Coconut Point Honda about this issue, they simply reminded me that I had purchased the vehicle "as is." They asked me to bring the vehicle to their shop to get a second opinion and they validated the issue but their suggestion was to wait until the 45 day period was over. When I asked about returning the vehicle, they told me they would only take it back at "market value," not as a buyback. The dealership claims all vehicles go through their shop inspection, but my experience suggests this inspection is inadequate. The small things were not even done like the oil life indicator being reset if they even did an oil change. I wish I had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic before finalizing the purchase. If you're considering buying from Coconut Point Honda, I strongly recommend having the vehicle inspected by a third-party mechanic first. Better yet, consider shopping elsewhere where customer satisfaction seems to be a higher priority. I understand that issues can arise with used vehicles, but the dealership's complete unwillingness to work with me on a major mechanical failure discovered immediately after purchase is disappointing. Learn from my mistake
