Buyers Beware — I Was Sold Two Lemons by BMW of West Houston Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership at all costs. I was sold not one, but two lemons back‑to‑back, and what should have been a retirement gift to myself turned into a nightmare. The first BMW I purchased broke down on my family during a road trip shortly after buying it. My local BMW dealership inspected it and came back with over $11,000 in repairs. This was a vehicle advertised as “certified” and “inspected.” The GM even acknowledged it was a lemon and had it towed from Clear Lake to Katy. He said he would “make it right,” but the only option presented to me was trading into another so‑called certified pre‑owned BMW. My salesman, Krisjtan, assured me the replacement vehicle would be perfect — one he personally took in on trade. The GM gave a quick apology, no real accountability, and no offer of warranty or protection. Looking back, it felt like they just wanted me to delete my first review. Fast‑forward: I hadn’t even had the second vehicle 30 days when it broke down — on the day of my retirement. The engine belt pulley melted, the belt shredded, and the car overheated. That repair cost me $700. Then the intake manifold was found to be failing, the battery was bad, and the vehicle had electrical issues causing surging while driving. Another $300 for the battery, plus the cost of renting a truck and trailer just to get the car home. Two lemons. Back‑to‑back. From the same dealership. They had a chance to correct this the first time. I asked them to void the sale after the first BMW was confirmed to be a lemon, and I was told no. Instead, I was pushed into another “certified” vehicle — which also failed within 30 days. At this point, I will be hiring a lawyer, as recommended. There is a reason this place is not accredited by the BBB. Please avoid BMW of West Houston. I wish someone had warned me.

I ordered my 2026 BMW X5 from BMW of West Houston in December. I am a repeat customer. Tommy Luk was my salesperson. Tommy is exceptionally knowledgeable and got me through the demo and ordering process quickly. Tommy kept me up to date with the production status and was always available to answer my questions. When the X5 arrived, Davin Pope and Tommy worked together to prepare the closing documents before my delivery appointment so I got through the process without wasting time or pressuring me to buy unnecessary options. Overall the delivery process was the best I have ever experienced.

Never Again. Had an APPOINTMENT and STILL was completely ignored for over 20 minutes before being shuffled off onto a CLUELESS apprentice. This dealership still plays hardball with the "dealer add on" xx and says it's "policy" to not remove this crap. All the usual xx....phantom footprints, Bardahl used car kit (chemicals that are NOT needed in a modern car) ..all the usual scam dealership dealer add ons that are mostly unexplained and undefined. Headed towards the door three or four times when they kept up acting like a "tote the note" dealership. Don;t let the high end dealership fool you. This is just yet another "stealership" car dealer. Stay away.
