I’m a father of four My wife and I were looking to purchase a $50,000 SUV from he salesman named Milton Rogers. We called on the car Saturday 9:30 AM. Rogers said he had to put his hands on the vehicle and will get right back to us. He did call within 20 minutes to let us know the vehicle was in fact available however has not been safety inspected but we could come on Monday morning to test drive and purchase it. We already have our cash in hand so financing was not needed, we just wanted the car because it was the color we’ve been looking for and local to where we live. We set up a sitter for Monday morning to watch the kids in preparation of buying our new car. Sunday came and went with no call from Mr. Rogers. I called Monday at 9:01A.m. to find out the car was sold without warning. The manager, named Bo made for excuses over the phone changing his story anytime I had a follow-up question. If you’re looking to buy a car I’m sure they’re fine; however if you’re looking for upfront and honest people I would not recommend BMW of Newport.

Simon our dealer was excellent- informative- returned all calls and was very professional. His communication skills were top notch. The best thing was his transparency of costs and did not pressure us at all.

Terrible Experience with BMW of Newport (Grieco)

Entered into a lease last week, but they are unable to actually give the car to me, so I'm paying for a car that I don't have! The delay is due to the time it takes to register a car in MA due to Covid, but they are still collecting my lease money in the meantime. Even though my car is sitting at the dealership they won't reimburse me for the money that I'm paying for the privilege of leasing a car that is unavailable to me. Their GM says NO to a loaner, says NO to reimbursement for the lease payments, says NO to temp tags, says NO to dealer tags, says NO to any other creative solution. Could be weeks before I get the car and they don't really care at all! Once they book the sale, you are disposable to them, especially if you got a good deal in the first place. We're not talking about a Kia, where you may expect sub-par treatment, we're talking about a BMW.
AWFUL.
