At the time of the sale, the dealership stated they would take care of the registration and all paperwork, they would send me NEW backseat headrests as they had them on order and could either re-route that delivery to my house or once they arrived at the dealership they would send them directly to me Problem 1: I drive the vehicle back to my house and was told the brake lights are not working. When the brake is applied, they flash and flicker and also flash the turn signals as well- which is obviously NOT SAFE or LEGAL- how was this not addressed during the safety inspection??? The other issue was the pictures online showed the vehicle had a trailer hitch, and when I got back home I noticed that my new vehicle did not. Solution: After I called the dealership when I got back home, they said they had to take off the trailer hitch because it was rusted and a safety hazard. Fine- I can deal with that. After also talking with the dealership at that time, they said to take it to the local dealership and get an estimate for the brake issue. The local dealership stated the issue was in the trailer hitch area, that many wires were frayed and needed to be replaced. So, obviously when BMW of Williamsport took off the trailer hitch because it was a safety issue, they also frayed all of the wiring and never took care of the issue, OR performed a safety inspection after. Wow. They did pay my local dealership to fix the issue. Thank you. Problem 2: Registration. A month goes by and I've heard nothing from the dealership as to the status of my registration, keep in mind the temporary plate they put on the vehicle states the temporary plate is only good for 60 days. I call the dealership to inquire about the status of my registration- end up leaving a message for the finance manager and follow up email. A week goes by. Have heard nothing. Call again. Nothing. Call a few times the next few days. Again nothing. Finally, after I call one more time, I'm able to get in touch with the finance manager and check in on the status of the registration. He does a good job of getting back to me on what needs to be done, because he took down the wrong address needed on the day of the sale, I fill out the paperwork sent to me and send back. Couple more weeks go by and decide to check on the status to see if they know an estimated date of when it will arrive, or if there were an issues that needed to be fixed. The finance mgr is very short with me, interrupts me, and tells me the date of when it will come in by. It eventually came in. I had 2 weeks to get an inspection- fine. The attitude of the GM and finance mgr in every instance can be classified as annoyed, and clearly do not want to be dealing with any issues. Problem 3: It's now been months from when they told me on the sale date that my headrests would be shipped to me. I called back during the first month to inquire, and they said they were on their way and would check into it and get back to me- never heard back. Inquired again after the first time speaking about my registration in a separate call when management was not there, and spoke to one of the sales people. They were absolutely FANTASTIC. They heard my issue, was shocked that I hadn't received them, and said they would inquire about it and get right back to me which they ACTUALLY DID. I heard back a couple days later that they were going to be shipped out to me and I should receive them shortly. I received them a couple weeks later. However, they are dusty and rusted. I call the dealership to state the issue- they don't want to hear me at all. The GM interrupts me and says I've been a nuisance with MY problems, and they can't help me. Went from calm- 0 to 100. Said they are done with me and MY problems and yell at me. GM- FIRE. FM- D. Sales- A+
