HORRIBLE FOLLOW UP - CAUSING CAR TO BE PARKED

Reviewed by Aubrey Argabright in ShelbyvilleMay 18, 2021

In March of 2021, BMW of Wesley Chapel sold me, a single working mother, a used Buick Envision which was delivered to me in Kentucky on or around March 19th of 2021. I purchased this vehicle under the belief and understanding that BMW of Wesley Chapel would promptly provide title and registration paperwork allowing for said vehicle to be legally operated in the state of Kentucky. With no responses from BMW of Wesley Chapel to provide me with any updates during this process, I followed up on the following dates asking for updates and expectations. • April 5th • April 7th • April 13th • April 14th • April 27th • May 11th • May 12th • May 13th • May 15th • May 18th As of today (May 18th), BMW of Wesley Chapel has provided absolutely no registration paperwork, and as the temporary tags have expired - tags which I had to follow up on multiple times as BMW of Wesley Chapel chose not to proactively provide any expectations or updates, the Buick Envision purchased by me is not legally operable in the state of Kentucky. As a single working mother with a child in daycare, this process has placed me in a tough situation and caused undue stress. All this, as a direct result of BMW of Wesley Chapel failing to conduct business in a reasonable manner. The Buick Envision is now parked, unusable. Because of Casey Newton and his teams failure to perform the promises following the purchase of a vehicle, I am also reaching out to KY Attorney General, There is simply no excuse for the lack of actions here. Casey Newton and his teams absolute lack of communication and efforts to provide me with registration documents, part of which I had paid for (taxes over $1000) in March, has caused me to have a vehicle which isnt legally driveable in the State of Kentucky. Caseys teams inability to provide updates, set expectations, etc - along with the fact that they have held thousands of dollars in due taxes which I paid in advance, is unacceptable. I have asked them to provide tracking information for all registration. But as they have mailed nothing to our Department of Motor Vehicles or myself, I still have no idea when I will be able to register this vehicle.
