We bought a 2018 Ford Expedition, well within the 6 months warranty, but because we are over the 6k miles they claim there is nothing they can do. 4 months and already we are having transmission issues. We got the transmission looked at today by a different mechanic and we were told that we need a new one. The transmission fluid was burnt, this does happen quickly so this is something the dealership should have known, maybe they did, but we certainly we not told about it. Be very diligent in your buying process. Their sales people are trained to get a 5 star Google rating at the sale from each customer. So keep your eyes opened if you choose to buy from this place. UDATE: you absolutely do not strive. You sold a xxx vehicle and you know it. Sure, the transmission fluid test might have passed, but I would like to see what you call "passed". Clearly that's a low bar. How convenient for you guys that it's just outside of the warranty. Buyers beware. We do need a transmission since they deemed it undrivable. But they're willing to "help us out" by charging us almost $12,000 for a new transmission and doing their labor at cost. However the mechanic that we have used for years says a brand new transmission from Ford with labor is $7, 250. DO NOT LET THESE GUYS NEAR YOUR CAR TO "FIX IT". DO NOT LET THEM SELL YOU A USED CAR.
