Not loyal to their customers!
In 2018, I had a new water pump installed for a 2009 Audi A4. Unbeknownst to me, for the past 10 years there have been numerous class action suits against Audi for defective water pumps that had all or part of the costs reimbursed....Audi never notified us of any class action suits. Fast forward to late November, warning light that coolant was low and found fluid on the garage floor. I could 't get an appointment with Audi of Danbury until December 5 so had to go to a local authorized repair shop. Guess what the problem was? Water pump was leaking. Local guy said to contact the dealership & see if pump they installed was uNader warranty. I called and spoke to service who informed me that the warranty was 12 months or 12,000 miles and the car was driven 14,000 so nothing they could do. When I protested regarding the Audi history of defective water pumps and the many THOUSANDS of dollars we had paid these guys to fix WAY TOO MANY repairs over the years, I was expecting some LOYALTY in exchange for MY loyalty to them...instead, I was told that the pump could have leaked because...get this...the car wasn't driven much and that could cause the seals to shrink! xxx? So in other words, it's MY FAULT that their GARBAGE water pumps (proven to be garbage by MULTIPLE LAWSUITS in the past decade) failed. I would have at least expected some consideration...maybe waive the labor or give some kind of discount based on the FACTS that a defective pump was likely, it was only 2000 miles past their "warranty" and the tremendous amount of money we've spent at their service Dept. But, no...instead I basically get, 'tough luck, you just missed out on the warranty' and 'you contributed to the water pump we put in leaking because you only drove 14,000 miles!' Get it? You drove TOO MUCH to have the warranty kick in but you drove TOO LITTLE and caused it to fail. What DISGRACEFUL treatment of customers who have been loyal to this dealership. They won't get another dime of my money and I suggest you stay FAR, FAR AWAY from Audi of Danbury! They don't value their loyal customers!

Possessions Went Missing After Detailing
If you're going to leave your car at this location, take ALL your belongings. I never expected this from Audi but I really did give them a chance to make this right before writing this. 2 months ago I took my car in for detailing. Something ended up being wrong with it so they had to keep it for an extra week which was totally ok. I have a baby so I tried to take everything I could when I left my car but forgot my husband's Ferragamo sunglasses on the dashboard tray in my rush to get the baby in the loaner car as she was crying. When I went to pick up my car a week later, the sunglasses were gone. I called and made sure that I was clear in that I wasn't accusing anyone of any wrongdoing, but they did go missing. I was met with a pretty defensive attitude when I spoke to the manager, John, but I understood that it may have been out of concern that I would write a bad review. I assured him that I just wanted the glasses back or for them to rectify the situation. He asked me to send him the price of the item and a photo and told me he would speak to management and call me back, but I didn't hear back. I called back 2 times before finally getting ahold of him and he told me he promised someone would reach out to me but a month later, no answer. So I tried again and couldn't seem to get him to call me back at all. So I finally spoke to the director in the services department, Dave. Once again he told me he would speak with accounting and call me back first thing in the morning, although something told me he wasn't really that interested in helping based on the tone in his voice. That was 4 days ago and I have called and left messages but it seems like I'm just being pushed aside. So I thought I would just come here to warn future patrons that if you accidentally leave any possessions behind and they go missing, this specific location is not interested in making sure you retrieve your property or making it right so you at least feel they take responsibility for anything that happens when your car is in their care. So make sure you leave your car completely empty, or go to another Audi with better customer service.
