THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! I wish I could give them 0 stars. Imagine taking your car in for what you believe is a simple service, oil change service, only to have everyone avoid you for hours when you come to pick up the car because....THEY LOST YOUR CAR KEYS!!!!! You cannot make this up! Instead of being professional and letting me know they misplaced (or lost) the car keys, everyone disappears into the back while I waited for them to bring the car around. Other customers came and went and no one had the decency to speak to me and let me know what was going on. This was after I walked 45 mins to pick up the car! DISGUSTING!!! Where is the customer service in all of this??? Eventually I was able to get someone to address the issue. They simply said they would take me home to pick up the spare key to get the car. There was no apology and no immediate offer to discount the service. Instead they made it seem as if it was no big deal and they would order a new key and program it to the car. The absurdity and egregious behavior was infuriating. I told them they need to absolutely discount the services (should have been 100% comp'd) they would need to get 2 new keys and make the other key (if found) unusable, because there is no way I'm trusting anyone to potentially have a set of keys to my car and know where i live. Do they think I'm a fool? Oh it gets better! Miraculously the key is found after those statements. Seriously?!? Very suspicious and I don't like that!!! We will NEVER be back and I'm telling every colleague I know with an Audi on the west side to not trust this unscrupulous business! STAY CLEAR OF THIS AWFUL PLACE!!!!! They tried to have my review removed instead of being a decent business and reaching out to apologize. I won’t be silenced. The truth hurts!

I really wish I didn't have to write this review, but I've been given no choice. BEWARE AT THIS DEALERSHIP!!! They do a great job during the sale, but once everything is signed they couldn't care less about you. I came to Santa Monica Audi because I was referred by my friend. It's definitely not the closest Audi to where I live, but again, I was referred so down I came. The sales process was average, nothing to good or bad about it, and again this review isn't about the sales process, this is amount how they treat you once you become a customer. I literally just got the car, it has about 500 miles on it, and my rear left tire went completely flat. I was never informed that my car came with Audi Roadside Assistance, so I called my car insurance and used the roadside assistance through them. The next day, I had the car towed to the Audi dealership closest to my house, where I asked them if they could put the spare on for me because I was so sure that Santa Monica Audi would do the right thing and help me out. Boy was I wrong. I tried to call for the GM of Santa Monica Audi twice and was told that he would call me back both times. Never got a call back. I did receive a call from my sales consultant, where he basically accused me of hitting a nail (this is after the service consultant from the Audi near me told me that it looks like this is a manufacture defect) and that I didn't buy the extra tire package so basically I'm out of luck. I told him that I understood that if it was due to a factor not related to a defect of the tire then that's fine and it is what it is but that I do believe this is a defect. He said I would need to bring the car in for them to take a look. I said ok, and then he told me I would need to make an appointment with the service department. The service department is only open M-F and as someone who has a full time job, that makes things difficult. I asked if I could bring it down for them to just take a look and again was told I need to schedule an appointment. I again asked to speak to the GM and again was told he would call me. So spoiler alert, the GM still never called me. I won't be returning to this dealership for anything. Let my story be a lesson to you. There are plenty of Audi dealerships in LA. Go to one where they actually treat you like you should treat a customer. As for me, I'm in Santa Monica sometimes, I'll be sure to stop by the dealership when I am and inform every customer on the sales floor about this experience.
