XC40 models have different powertrains, which are indicated by their B4 and B5 designations. Both B4 and B5 models have three trim levels available: Core, Plus, and Ultimate.
The B4 models come with a 194-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, while the B5 models have a 247-hp, turbo 2.0-liter four cylinder. Both engines are mated to the same eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on the B4, while the B5 comes with all-wheel drive.
