I’m sharing this publicly in hopes of resolving a very disappointing situation directly with Volvo. My 2018 Volvo XC60 T5 is currently undrivable after suffering extensive water intrusion under the carpet, which caused significant electrical system damage. The estimated repair cost is nearly $7,000, which exceeds the value of the vehicle — yet I still owe about $9,000 on it. I’ve been advised the likely source is related to a sunroof drainage / water leakage issue, allowing water to enter the cabin and pool beneath the carpet. After researching this further, it’s clear that similar water intrusion issues have been reported by other Volvo XC60 owners, making this feel like more than an isolated incident. I’m not posting this to attack Volvo or my dealership. I’m posting because I believe a brand known for safety, engineering, and customer trust should stand behind its product when a failure like this leaves an owner without transportation and under significant financial strain. I am respectfully requesting Volvo corporate goodwill assistance to help repair this vehicle or offset the cost. Volvo — I hope you’ll review my case and help make this right. I would strongly prefer to resolve this directly rather than escalate this experience more broadly. — A disappointed but hopeful Volvo owner

I reached out to Sandberg Volvo about leasing a XC90 and was extremely disappointed with my experience. I live 50 miles away and requested to negotiate the lease remotely to avoid an unnecessary trip. Initially, the salesperson insisted on in‐person negotiations, so I contacted the sales manager, Bill Tapscott, directly via email. At first, Bill provided a counter offer that seemed reasonable. However, when I discovered a $1500 discrepancy in incentives—amounts he had previously dismissed—I sent over proof that they should apply. Bill then agreed to the incentive but completely stopped responding to my follow-up emails. When I mentioned that another dealership was willing to honor my original terms, Bill replied with a rude, sarcastic email. This unprofessional and inconsistent behavior made the entire process frustrating and a complete waste of time. I cannot recommend Sandberg Volvo based on my experience
