I had the esteemed pleasure of working directly with Dewayne to ensure I was getting the absolute best deal on my vehicle purchase. I had heard about him from some of my coworkers who had also worked with him and I quickly understood why he was so highly sought after. He was never pushy. I let him know what I needed, how much I wanted to spend, and he helped to get me an even better deal than I had anticipated. When I became doubtful that I would even be able to make this purchase and get exactly what I wanted, he allowed me the time I needed to process everything, but remained encouraging and extremely patient. He had several customers that he was working with at the same time (because he's the guy everyone's looking for) but somehow he managed to make everyone feel as if we were his only clients and never that we were being slighted in any way. He's no nonsense because he takes his job seriously and those of us who appreciate every "I" being dotted and every "T" being crossed most definitely could appreciate his careful attention to detail. I mean this guy had customers follow him from Baton Rouge and other locations in Louisiana, just to purchase from him when he moved to Houston. With all of the dealers even in their local areas, that speaks volumes! I am elated to have been able to work with him, and now just like the others before me, anyone in need of a vehicle in the LA/TX area, I strongly advise them to purchase a Volvo from Dewayne Wade!

If you want to go to a dealer that treats their customers like dirt, you have found your spot! Specifically, Dewayne "The best deal in Town" Wade is the definition of a sleazy car salesman. When Dewayne thought the deal was not going his way he texted me I am scheming, a liar, giving broken, misinformation, misleading tactics, and more. When I emailed all the text messages to the his manager, Demetrious "D" Johnson I was told D's manager would call me back. I still have not received this call and tried again today, four days later, with no luck. I did reach Demetrious Johnson today and he hung up on me mid-sentence. I called him back and it went to voicemail. I then emailed him asking why he hung up but no reply. He did call me back 15 minutes later and said he did not realize I was talking.
I still am in shock how Dewayne Wade texted me with no care. Obviously this is not new to him being no managers even cared that he sent these messages. I have not dealt with anyone other than these two at the dealership. Maybe everyone else at DeMontrond is great, but beware of the unprofessional, used car salesman mentality, and bullying tactics by the Baton Rouge native. Maybe they treat people this way where you are from Dewayne Wade, but NOT in Texas!!!!

Martin Carbajal, internet sales was amazing. He even offered to bring the car to me when he found I was injured from a wreck. The car I found at this dealership, through cars.com, was pretty much what I was looking for to replace my totaled car. Once I requested additional information about the car, Martin reached out to me. He was always very pleasant, courteous and professional. I never questioned the car, the dealership or Martin's integrity. However, the dealership was over an hour away, on the other side of Houston, from me. But they did have a car I was interested in. Over about a period of about 2 weeks, Martin would check in with me every 3 days or so. Absolutely no pressure and complete understanding for the reasons I couldn't make it to the dealership; usually Dr/medical tests related, and there was that crazy rain. During the time Martin and I were communicating, my husband was out searching locally. We were at the point where we had to get out of the rental and replace my car, when I told Martin that I was afraid, the trip and the typical buying experience would just be too much for me. That is when he told me he would bring the car and paperwork to me! Wow, I really hope the dealership appreciates him! My husband did in fact find a car at a local dealer. We decided to go ahead and move forward with it. It certainly wasn't as close to having one delivered to your driveway, but I was able to check all the boxes. I honestly hated that I didn't get to meet Martin and work with him, in person. I know he was disappointed, but didn't show it and was very professional and understanding about my personal situation. So I can't say much about the dealership other than it seemed to me, they had a good selection of pre-ownwed cars and they are smart enough to hire some great sales associates. Make sure you specifically ask for Martin Carbajal when looking for your next car! He will treat you right.
