Volvo Cars of Huntington

Huntington Volvo’s service is top notch. I just was towed there with 2 flat tires. They were able to provide me 2 new tires and a new alignment all within a few hours!

BEWARE of the service department. I had made the mistake of bringing my 2022 Volvo XC90 in for repair because the car wouldn’t start (battery charging issue). I had the misfortune of working with both Will Pulistar and Michael DiFrancisca (service manager). After holding onto the car for 2 weeks, I was told that the car wouldn’t start because it needed a new engine. I am not a mechanic, but it did not make sense to me as the car was only three years old. They were sharks, rude and tried to take advantage of my mechanical ignorance. They attempted to pressure me into purchasing a new engine at a cost of $35,000. Following my instincts, I decided to have my car towed to a local mechanic that specializes in Volvo’s. The new mechanic diagnosed the Volvo as needing a new alternator. He told me that because the alternator was broken, the car battery would not charge & the car would not start. The new mechanic also throughly examined the engine. He said that the engine was perfectly fine with no leaks and no problems. He also told me that it appeared that someone (from Volvo Cars of Huntington) probably attempted to drain the oil out of the engine. The new mechanic fixed the alternator (at a cost of $900.00) and my Volvo has been running great ever since. I find it abhorrent that Will Pulistar and Michael DiFrancisca attempted to swindle me. After speaking with others that took their Volvo to be serviced at Volvo Cars of Huntington, they had told me similar stories. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid Volvo Cars of Huntington at all costs.
