The WORST buying experience!

I have taken my Volvo to the service department for about five years and have had GREAT experiences. So, when looking for another car, I decided to try their used car sales.
I scheduled an appointment and showed up to test drive an XC60. The salesman who met me was a bit pushy, but I could deal with that. I wanted to take the car for a test drive and he told me to drive down Philadelphia Road/Route 7. I said that I didn't know where the road went, but he told me to just drive, turn around and come back.
Since a lot of my driving is on highways, I decided to go south on I-95 and then come back. As soon as I got on 95, I noticed that the gas was in the red zone, and that the miles to empty was just dashes. A minute later, the screen said to get gas as soon as possible. I was furious that anyone would give a prospective buyer a car with an empty tank. So I put $10 in the tank. As I was leaving the gas station, I noticed an I in a circle, so clicked on it, and it said the tire pressure was low!
This is unacceptable in my mind. Why would you put a driver in the position of possibly running out of gas or having a flat tire on a test drive???
When I got back, the salesman yelled at me for not doing the test drive on Route 7 because that's not what he told me to do. He told me to come in and sign the papers for the car, and was irritated when I told him that I was looking at another car and would let him know by the next day. I also had financing from my bank at a very good rate and he said that they would rather use their own financing companies.
Still furious about the gas and the tires, I left... without getting my $10 back for the gas.
The salesman called me five times before noon the next day wanting to know if I'd made up my mind... Yes, I had. I would rather walk than buy a car from him.
I ended up buying a car from another Volvo dealer, for $2000 less, with 30k fewer miles and with a trade in of double what Koons offered.

Rich my salesman was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to all my questions and virtual tour requests. Koons made purchasing a Volvo during a pandemic pleasant and less challenging. Additionally, Joy the administrative assistant was responsive, helpful and extremely pleasant to interact with. I was torn between a few different dealerships, but Koons customer service sets them apart from their competition. I highly recommend Koons Volvo
Easy Peasy Buying Experience

We found a used car at Koons, and once we negotiated (briefly) and received the final numbers via text, we made the hour plus drive to pick up the car. Everything was transparent. No pressure. And the car got excellent ratings from the mechanic for the pre-sale inspection. We felt comfortable with the entire buying experience.
