Rude, insulting and belligerent

My issue isn’t with the inability to close a deal, it’s with the lack of professionalism from the sales rep upon trying to leave. They moved our car to do their appraisal for trade in without telling us. Then when I asked where it was and why they moved it the rep became belligerent with me. Even as I attempted to leave the floor he followed me out to yell at me. As I walked away from him around the building corner to get our car he followed me all the way there to continue to try to bait me into an argument. We weren’t able to reach a deal on the car we wanted, clearly that happens all the time. He couldn’t handle that we weren’t interested in the lease on a different vehicle that he tried to divert us too. He even become insulting a few times. Once, telling me I don’t understand the lease to buy option, which I fully do, just am not slightly interested in that option. Second when trying to get away from this screaming maniac and locating my wife’s car I became flustered and approached the wrong car, which was very similar that it shouldn’t be difficult to find the car now. I’ve never experience a level or rudeness from a car salesman ever.

Terrible from start to finish. Stay away

Just bad all the way through from start to finish. Communication was terrible starting with Laura the internet sales person and the real star of the show Andrew in used sales. Took a week to finally actually get anywhere with anyone as far as any return correspondence. Drove 45mins look at a truck that was "ready to be shown" only to find it very dirty, ashes everywhere, and smelled like it's had cigarettes smoked in it with the windows up it's whole life. Gross! A week later after getting no return response from anyone I here from Andrew and it was only even worse from there. Excuse after excuse as to why it was dirty and even a week later could not get the smell out. Even after all that, and despite my better judgement, I still proceeded. Even went as far as to discuss OTD price and all. With it being mothers day of course no one in their right mind is going to drop everything to go to a dealer 45mins away. Made it very clear I could stop in the very next day to buy the truck but that's where the games began. Nothing but lame excuse after lame excuse as to why he couldn't honor the same price we spoke about 12 hours earlier. Just to ultimately have him patronize me and then brag how the truck sold to someone else (have all the text saved for reference to corporate). That's how we do business? That's how we treat customers? As a GM of a large industry in Central Florida I can tell you exactly where I won't be sending anyone.

Rude Service Rep

I had an initial service visit and noticed things weren’t as streamlined as other VW dealerships I have used in the past. Upon a return visit, I needed a further inspection due to my issue not being resolved. (No fault of theirs) I made an online apt for 8:30 am and dropped the car the day before. By noon I still had not heard from anyone. I called and was told the service agent was the only one in and would call me back within the hour. Nearly three hours later I received a call back. Upon the late afternoon return call, I found the agent was rude, short and condescending. She wanted paperwork from a previous shop that I did not have and did not seem to be listening to what I was saying I needed. I got frustrated at her rude attitude and condescending tone and told her to forget it and I would pick up the car. I picked up the car and took it to Jacksonville VW. Totally different experience. Osteen VW in Jacksonville is the service I am used to. I would avoid Gunthier.
