Volvo Cars Gilbert

I took my vehicle on 06/25 ( Wednesday ) for my AC to be fixed & was sent over an inspection report & video stating they saw no other leaks causing my AC to not work other than a valve therefore it needed to be repaired & was done, I was charged $743. Upon receiving my vehicle the AC worked fine unfortunately for only a total of four days. I called today 06/30 ( Monday ) to have the vehicle picked up and inspected, once again. I then received a report stating they found another leak this time is was from the evaporator core & would be $4,337. I have yet to be informed why my vehicle was not thoroughly inspected the first time it was in shop, and why a $700 repair lasted a total of four days. Gilbert’s diagnostic charge is $200 but failed to be done thoroughly. Regardless both repairs need to be done but the lack of attention to detail & paying $700 with no real issues fixed is distasteful & feels as though I was a quick pocket picked. I love Volvo, this was my first time dealing with Gilbert Volvo & will be my last. My home Volvo is Scottsdale but because Gilbert is closer to my office I decided to give it a go. Save your time & money go to Scottsdale Volvo, they know the value of your money, vehicle & time. I’ve taken my vehicle to Scottsdale where I know it will be inspected & repaired the correct way.

Lessees be aware!! There are clauses and phrases in the leasing contract and vehicle protections plans that the dealership and Volvo do not communicate to you. 1. If you decide to get another non-Volvo vehicle, the current Volvo vehicle cannot be traded in at non non-Volvo dealerships. It can only be returned to Volvo. You are stuck then Volvo and their terms. 2. If you buy certain extended Vehicle Protections plans such as Road hazard tire and warranty if you do not file a claim before the lease is turned in, they will not honor the protection plan. You get stuck with repair fees despite having paid for the insurance. One would think for the amount of money paid for leasing the vehicle that Volvo and Volvo cars of Gilbert would collaborate with you on a $300 repair charge that you paid $1483.00 insurance protection plan for. Or at least communicate to you that repairs must be made before turning in the vehicle. Be wary of the practices and failure to communicate and do not get taken like I did. Volvo and Volvo Cars of Gilbert have lost any vehicle loyalty.

Extremely helpful and professional. Purchased a car remotely and they were very responsive and detailed in sharing information, photos, video, etc. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone buying a vehicle.
