Took in a car for service just to get an oil change.
Took in a car for service just to get an oil change. Of course had to schedule an appointment which is standard. Showed up before my appointment time and was told to expect between an hour and an hour and a half. 2+ hours later, finally went back to the service desk to ask for an update. At which point it was taken care of immediately, but it still seems ridiculous that it takes over two hours for a scheduled oil change with no additional work being done. The service desk said they were understaffed, which is completely understandable as to why things are taking longer however maybe they should adjust the number of appointments they accept in a day to account for that instead of making people wait longer than they should have to or what they quoted. If your mechanics are getting burnt out, fix the manpower problem or don’t schedule so many appointments.
