If I could give zero stars, I would. My wife and I had one of the worst car-buying experiences of our lives at Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles in July 2025. The salesman (Tah Anyele) tried to pull a bait-and-switch, showing us one e-tron online (1-owner, no accidents) but then attempting to sell us a completely different car with multiple accidents. Only because I checked the VIN and CarFax did we catch this. Then, after signing finance paperwork at $580/month, management suddenly tried to change the payment to $630–$690/month. Classic payment manipulation. To make matters worse, they tried to sell us an electric car without a charger, insisting we either buy one for $500 or use public charging until I pushed back. Only after a long fight did they finally hand one over. The entire process took nearly 8 hours. They also pressured us to sign “as-is” paperwork, and now—more than 7 weeks later—we still have no registration or tags, even though the fees were included in our financing. Calls and emails to the finance manager (Chris Dixon) and sales staff go unanswered. This dealership is dishonest, unprofessional, and exploitative—especially toward out-of-state buyers. Save yourself the headache and buy from a reputable dealer that values customers. Stay far away from Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles.

You advised Teemour that you would be correcting these reviews, since that hasn’t happened, Lindsay is responding: In early July, you reached out to our salesperson Tah regarding our large selection of e-trons. Weeks later, you and your family arrived to explore multiple e-trons with Tah. There were never any “bait and switch” as you chose to look at many e-trons during your visit. During your lengthy visit, Tah even purchased lunch for your children. Payments will only change when the vehicle or terms change, which are driven by the purchaser. Because Lindsay VW is not a warranty provider, all vehicles are required to be sold “AS IS” no Dealer Warranty. Interestingly, this e-tron had coverage from the balance the original factory warranty. As you are aware, the delays in registering the e-tron were not caused by Lindsay but were due to a DMV hold on the register’s account, which Lindsay also helped you resolve with the DMV. Won’t call, they only text.
Won’t call, they only text. First line in their ad says “transparent pricing”, but they charge a $989 processing fee on used vehicles (VA state max allowed for processing fee is $800). They won’t remove the fee no matter what, even when none of what it’s supposed to be for applies to your deal. No real attempts to sell in two weeks of my reaching out. I left messages for the sales manager to call, and was told he would 3x… I never received a call from the sales manager. Seem like new style dealership; afraid of phones and aiming for uneducated consumers that just want to get approved for financing and will sign on the line. If you’re a cash buyer, probably look elsewhere.
