diagnostic testing. He believes this because they were unable to name a single diagnostic that they did. He thinks the turbo not the clutch went bad bc it would start up and run fine after it stopped for 30-45 minutes but then just do the same losing power things again 15-60min later. He says when a clutch goes - it's just gone, it doesn't stop/start. Seeing as he tested it when he picked me up and he teaches and certifies people to be mechanics, I trust his opinion. Also, ive had that happen at another Volxwagon dealership- they guessed the problem incorrectly, fixed the wrong thing and the car went out 24 hrs after they had "fixed" it. That time it was the fuel pump (again it's a 2021 with under 31000 miles on it). But in addition to obviously not knowing what they were doing- they offered zero assistance. Since I was in transit I was supposed to be given priority- no such thing occurred. Seeing as I still need a car they could have offered me a deal on a new car and I would have traded the jetta in- no such niceness occurred. Im trading the jetta in but at a different dealership and I'll be leaving midland odessa with a new car but not from them. Im blessed to have the resources to do so and cringe at the thought of how screwed they leave people who are not as fortunate as myself. Poor moral character and lacking in compassion

I had the pleasure of meeting/working with Dorian on May 2. He was very easy to work with and very professional. I will recommend VW of Midland to others and if I need another vehicle, I will certainly return to work with Dorian.
