Buyers beware, particularly on a 2022 Gentian Blue 718

Buyers beware, particularly on a 2022 Gentian Blue 718 Spyder that Gossett Porsche is currently trying to sell as a CPO vehicle. The car has extensive, poor-quality paintwork covering up undisclosed issues on at least 3 different panels (front bumper and both rockers). In addition to the awful paint quality, there are also signs of poor masking and overspray, a gouge in the rear bumper, missing paint on the driver's door edge, extensive wear on the driver's door sill, a hole in the passenger seat Alcantara, and a broken toolkit bracket in the front-right side of the frunk. Also, the passenger front wheel has been repaired from extensive curb damage. In looking more closely, I believe the rear wheel was damaged and repaired as well. I gave Gossett Porsche a $2,500 deposit, flew in to buy this car and drive it home, only to discover the list of issues above. Sales associate Zack Davidson and Sales Manager, David Graham, both acknowledged the poor condition of the vehicle as it was pointed out to them, and the excuse was: "Our service guys are mechanics. They don't really notice body work." This is unacceptable, especially considering the 111-point CPO checklist has 5 specific items requiring inspection to ensure the car has no visible evidence of body damage. Although my deposit was returned, I am now out over $1,300 in travel costs, and an entire wasted day, due to the negligence of this dealership. I e-mailed David Graham and General Manager, Jason Marshall, requesting reimbursement for my expenses. So far, that e-mail has been ignored. I had built trust in the Porsche brand and dealer network though previous ownership and interactions with multiple dealers. Now that trust has been broken, and I am extremely disheartened. I hope this is a learning experience for all involved, and anyone reading this review. *cars.com doesn't appear to allow photos on reviews, but be sure to check Google or Yelp reviews for the photos that go along with this review*
