He’s extremely professional, prompt, personable and the reason why I will be a returning customer. He is a wonderful asset to this dealership and needs to be promoted. frustrated and disappointed

We were disappointed by our overall car buying experience at Volkswagen of Salem. We went down to drive an Audi Q5 which we ended up purchasing. We liked the car but it ran out of gas while idling in their lot. They put in a gallon from a can so we could test drive, however after we decided to purchase they let us drive away on fumes. Who sells a car like that? Additionally the car we purchased had very worn tires. We requested that they change them out from another Q5 on their lot, there was one (same year) with new tires. This would have been an easy promise but they declined to step up and honor our request. The car was also very dirty. They semi washed the exterior before delivery but the interior had many places that were missed, spills down the side of the center console, dirt under the seats, etc... I requested to see the carfax upon arrival, but had to ask 6 or 7 times before it was given to me. I also asked if there were one or two keys and that information was never addressed before signing. lastly, many of the people who worked there didn’t wear their masks up over their noses. This made us feel uncomfortable during a pandemic. It would be nice to feel like we mattered but that was not the case. We sent this feedback to them in the survey they emailed to us, but they haven’t followed up with us. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We do love our car and people were nice, but actions speak louder than words so we don’t recommend them, and are not eager to return.

Horrible service

If I could give this company a negative star I would. Went into dealership last week to look at a GMC, they said it needed to go into the shop cause it was just brought in. We offered to do paperwork before it even went to the shop because we wanted it. The dealership employee promised that we could get the gmc as soon as the shop was done with it, and we didn't have to do paperwork. All week they gave updates and said it will be done Monday, well today I asked and the employee tells me someone bought it before out of the shop. I even was pre-approved for that gmc. Then now Monday is here and dealership employee proceeds to tell me company policy says they can't promise vehicles first come first serve. Well I wanted to buy it a week ago before it went to the shop, offered to do paperwork for it and was promised to be able to buy it Monday (today) and now it's sold. Retrain your employees better on policy if you say the dealership can't make promises or live up to the promise. HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP!!!!
