Leased a brand-new 2025 VW Tiguan from Bay Ridge VW, and within 26 miles the check engine light came on. The safety features stopped working, remote start doesn’t work, and after a month, the car is still sitting at the dealership waiting for parts. This is supposed to be a new car, yet it’s been nothing but a nightmare. The sales staff also lied at the point of sale — they promised a trunk privacy cover as part of the deal, and now they claim it “doesn’t exist” for this model. When we asked for an exchange or replacement vehicle, they flat-out refused. Bay Ridge VW takes no responsibility, offers no real help, and leaves customers stranded with defective vehicles. We’re now afraid to drive outside the city because we can’t trust the car’s safety systems. This dealership only cares about making the sale — once they get your signature, you’re on your own. Avoid Bay Ridge VW at all costs. Dishonest sales, terrible service, and zero accountability.

My salesperson Sarah was awesome . She was so professional from the moment she answered the phone until the end of my lease transaction . Sarah knew the car very well and guided me in the right direction . I absolutely love my Volkswagen Taos .

I live in Bay Ridge. I drive a Volkswagen. So where do I go for service? I take 4th avenue and drive right past Bay Ridge Volkswagen, get on the Verrazzano Bridge ($7 toll) and I go to the VW dealership on Staten Island where I drop-off the car and then take the bus back home. It's a pain in the butt, but way better than dealing with the soul crushing nightmare that is Bay Ridge Volkswagen.
