My daughter bought her Tiguan at this dealership with a extended warranty we noted a antifreeze leak while under this warranty period they indicated all was fine guess what a year later which was out of the warranty period it needed a new water pump and Tstat housing at a cost of $1700 which she had to pay here is a example of the consumer getting the raw end of the deal because the dealer did not do the right thing. Not happy with this dealer ship

When purchasing a vehicle Autofair’s finance manager pushes purchasing an extended warranty. They are a complete con! Between myself and my daughter we have purchased 4 VW from Autofair and have bought the extended warranty. I brought my 22 atlas in thinking I purchased a warranty that covers electrical parts of the vehicle. I brought it in for an electric fan issue. Was told it will cost me a 199 diagnostic fee. When they couldn’t find the reason the fan turns on as soon as you unlock the doors, which they confirmed it does. I was told it will cost me another 460 to continue to diagnose the reason. I was Also was told my electrical warranty only covers light bulbs and hoses. NOT WHAT YOUR CON MAN OF A FINANCE MANAGER SAID I WAS PURCHASING. Belts and hoses ? Do we live in the 70’s? A freaking serpentine belt lasts 300k miles! When’s the last time you changed a flipping hose? My daughter just purchased a new Tiguan last month . I told her to go to your service center and find out if she was sold the contract, because she said she bought an electrical warranty. I purchased a ‘24 Tiguan from Noyes VW in December of 24 and will do my service and purchasing from them from here on out. Autofair dealerships are completely dishonest and useless as a company on every level…..
