Right from the first call the service was great!

Right from the first call the service was great! All my questions and concerns were answered immediately and the sales processes was expedited at my request due to the timing of my purchase the week between Christmas and new year when things typically slow down. Mike Downes was the most polite and professional salesman in the automotive industry I have ever dealt with and I am 67 years old have bought many vehicles. EXPECTATIONS WERE MET! Would recommend and will buy there again. Thank you to the Noyes team! To Spencer Noyes you have a great staff start to end!

Great dealership

Reviewed by MJ from Vernon VtOctober 23, 2023

We just purchased a 2019 VW Tiguan from Noyes. We were pleased with the helpfulness of the salesman Leo. He readily agreed to speak with my stepson who knows a lot about cars. The transaction was easy, and everything was well explained.

BELIEVE THE POOR REVIEWS

Reviewed by Ted from Hampton NHOctober 14, 2023

BELIEVE the reviews!!! 2.2 Stars is probably being generous. We recently found a car listed by Noyes Volkswagen. I reached out to the dealer on behalf of my daughter. I spent 30 to 45 minutes on the phone asking “Leo” questions about the car. Seeing that the car was for my daughter I was far more concerned for safety issues and in this case the tires. The car was pre owned with 37k miles. I asked if they changed the tires when they took it in. Leo was a SALESMAN acting like my concerns were “his” concern so he went to his superior and asked about the tires at which point he called me back and said they used their “gauge” and they came back at 6/32 which apparently is about 1/2 the tread life remaining. I asked because I really didn’t know anything about the “gauge” if he could do the penny test to just be clear for me at which point he just kept saying how they used the gauge and everything was fine and that he wasn’t even aware what the penny test was. Simple penny test says you place the test in the tire tread with Lincoln’s head in the tread and if you don’t see his head the tire for the most part will pass inspection. If Lincoln’s head can be fully seen then tires are either ready to replace or nearing the useful end. So I took “Leo’s” word for it. If you’re not sure Google it, trust me it’s a thing average consumers know. We negotiated a small price discount and sent a deposit to hold the car while we took the 2 hour ride over to pick it up. We get there and I notice immediately that the tire treads are low, I question “Leo” who reminds me of his gauge and the minimum standards that they have to pass inspection. It’s October, this is an SUV and those tires won’t get the average driver through a NH winter. I wasn’t happy, I expressed my concern with Leo who all of a sudden felt “disrespected” by me questioning the safety level of the tires for a car my daughter was going to buy. I knew it would cost an additional $1,000 to replace the tires. At the end of the day I questioned “4” men all huddled like school boys in the gm’s office if they’ve ever heard of the penny test to check a tires tread life and they all said “NO”, 4 men that own a car dealership, and a tire dealership don’t know this simple method that the average consumer would know. Sounds like Leo, his boss and 2 other guys were more embarrassed that I caught them in a lie then being concerned about the safety of my daughter a future customer. The boss who I believe was the owners son acted like such a fool literally spouting about his knowledge of the industry all the while sitting back in his office chair like Al Bundy in married w/children and having his hand firmly in his pants. Honestly his father should be embarrassed of this representation of his business. At the end of the day Noyes Volkswagen doesn’t care about about the safety of their customers and in this case my daughter trying to buy the car. It’s car salesmen and dealerships like this that really give the industry a bad name.
