Paid $200 for diagnosis didn’t find anything more that I
Paid $200 for diagnosis didn’t find anything more that I knew. Wanted another $599 for more diagnoses. Try to trade got $700.offer for my $8000. Worth car brought the car to a local mechanic fixed it for $500. Car running fine.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback and would like to clarify the details of your visit. During your initial diagnostic, our technician scanned your vehicle and found fault codes related to idle control and multiple cylinder misfires. Upon inspection, there was a significant amount of oil present throughout the engine bay and underneath the vehicle, indicating more than one active oil leak. Due to the amount of oil present, the exact source(s) could not be accurately identified without performing the recommended next diagnostic steps, including cleaning the engine and performing a smoke test. These steps and associated costs were fully explained to you; however, you declined any additional diagnosis, and no further repairs were authorized. Following your visit, you contacted the dealership and were transferred to myself to discuss your concerns. Unfortunately, during that conversation you began extremely confrontational and declined to engage in a civil discussion. You ended the phone call abruptly before the matter could be reviewed further. While you later chose to have the vehicle repaired elsewhere, we cannot comment on the scope or quality of that work. Repairs performed outside the dealership may involve aftermarket or non-OEM parts and do not carry a Volkswagen parts or labor warranty. Our goal is to provide accurate findings and transparent recommendations so our customers can make informed decisions. We stand by the diagnostic work completed during your visit and the information provided to you at that time.
