If I could give zero stars, I would. I was stranded in the middle of town during a downpour with my 8-year-old child when my brand-new 2025 Atlas, costing over 50000 dollars, suffered a dangerous malfunction. The back hatch kept opening on its own no matter what I did. I called for help and asked for the manager, and the experience was honestly worse than the malfunction. He talked over me, refused to let me finish a sentence, and dismissed everything with a comment like, “It is probably a rat,” before even hearing the full situation. My child and I were standing in the rain with the hatch stuck open, and his only suggestion was to “just drive it up here,” an hour away, with the hatch fully open. He offered no troubleshooting, no reset option, no sensor guidance, no safety advice, and no attempt to help in any meaningful way. In my opinion, nothing about his behavior resembled the professionalism or care a manager should have. It felt like someone holding a title without offering any of the responsibility, empathy, or problem solving that should come with it. As a healthcare worker, I would never speak to someone in crisis, especially a parent with a child, the way he spoke to me. I truly hope he and his family never experience that level of disregard in an emergency. A malfunction on a new vehicle is bad enough. Being treated with complete disrespect and no help made the situation far worse. This experience destroyed my trust in this dealership.
